Welcome to the Global Anticoagulant Registry in the FIELD

Thromboembolic stroke represents a major challenge and its prevention will be a defining component of population healthcare in the 21st century.

The GARFIELD-AF Registry will enhance the breadth and depth of understanding of stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation and ultimately help to develop strategies for improving patient outcomes worldwide.

GARFIELD is a pioneering outcomes research initiative sponsored and coordinated by the Thrombosis Research Institute. Our worldwide observational programmes will enhance understanding of the burden of thrombosis and identify opportunities for the incorporation of innovations designed to improve safety, outcomes and utilization of healthcare resources.
